Enrich: The Brief
Create and deliver an event that would attract local businesses and share the ‘need to knows’ when considering doing business abroad, specifically China. This event also aimed to cement relations and encourage further collaborations between the Council and the Chinese Consulate as well as showcasing one of the main tourist attractions within the Council footprint.
Elevate: The Outcome
The event was full to capacity and featured two high-quality speakers, one, an international expert on business growth and the other, a local case study sharing their reflections on how they have successfully grown their business including international expansion. Whilst this was a niche event, there was plenty of learning opportunities and outcomes for all delegates and the venue was showcased via a guided tour of the racecourse to finish. Madame Zhang Meifang, Northern Ireland Chinese Consul General, was in attendance to explore the options for ongoing collaboration.
